Day 1

I slept till 9.30am todayy.
I had beancurd tart & cream puff for breakfast.
I watched taiwanese drama the whole afternoon.
I cooked maggie mee with egg for lunch cos i was home alone.
I snack on icecream & kinder bueno white cos i've got nothing to do =S
I went night jogging cos i feel fat.
But i had curry for dinner after the jog.. hahas! =x

I've been staring at the screen for quite some time already.

I feel like blogging.. but my mind is kind of blank now.

Too tired i guess?

Hmmms..

Work was busy today.

Patient's condition suddenly deteriorate.

Transferred him down to ICU.

It took me close to 4hours.

When i was finally back to the ward, new case came..

Have to settle the new cases, serve medicine, finish up other patient's changes, write reports, do dressing for the new case, check the e-trolley....

So many so many things!

Left the hospital at around 11.20pm..

Felt a sharp pain over my ankle the moment i step out of the hospital.

I think i kind of like sprain my ankle while working which i don't even know when.

Amazingly amazing!

Hahahas!

And guess what?

My suay-ness doesn't stop there.

I met a pervert at the Yck mrt station!

Okays..

Maybe not a pervert..

Just a weird young guy.

But he seriously scares me!

Received a call from devia about 15mins ago.

She was telling me that.. that white car which we saw when we were on our way back from genting belongs to kammy.

and there i saw, she and her boyfriend's photo.

my heart totally sank..

I remember when we passed by their car, i was still talking to devia asking her if we should get down the car and help out.

I can't believe that we were so near her.

They're planning to get married..

but now, they're so far apart.

One is still lying in the hospital and another one is dead.

my initial plan was to go korea with my family..

but if i were to buy the air ticket now, it will be a few hundreds more expensive than what it was supposed to be.

Ward was freaking busy recently.

all of us work like mad.

seriously mad.

it was so busy that i didnt even have time to drink water.

didnt even have time to go toilet.

let alone eat.

so basically, i only had like one meal a day for the past few days.

i reach home at freaking 1am almost every day.

i really feel like crying when i reached home cos i was so so so tiredd.

its the first time i feel so freaking stressed up.

i didnt know work can be SO tiring and stressful.

anyway, yesterday was my off day.

i slacked at home the whole afternoon..

managed to drag myself out of the house to meet shan for dinner.

I survived through my 2 nights..
but i died right after that.

I woke up from my sleep with severe headache plus whole body weakness.
Was feeling super cold even with my thick thick blanket on.
I placed the thermometer in my mouth and it goes up and up until it reaches 38.5.

Year 2010 is seriously not my year.

Its only starting of march and so many things happened.

All bad stuff.

Nothing good.

I fainted in the ward today while i was half way taking my report.

i was perfectly alright before that.

but i dont know why,

out of sudden my head just got heavy..

and then it started to spin and tadahh,

blank out.

i wonder if i'll just faint one day and never wake up again?

..My Late 21st Birthday Post..

Mr Lim gave me 3 surprises on my 21st birthday.

First was this missy piggy, which i found it on the floor when i went over to his house 5days before my birthday.

I picked her up from the floor and asked mr Lim.. "Who's plushie is this?"

He said.. "Its for you. Your birthday pressie"

So i was like very happy luh cos that piggy is very cute and i really like it very much!

3 reasons why i like her so much...

1) b'cos shes a piggy

2) b'cos shes a missy piggy and her uniform is blue in colour, totally the same as mine!

Second was this..

He suddenly passed me this when we meet up for dinner 2days before my birthday.

I was like.. "what is this?"
Him.. "Your birthday present luh"
Me.. "what present? thought you already gave me one? why give me another one??"
Him.. "Take luh. I buy one but i don't know whether you'll like it anot."
Me.. "Oh.. okayy. Thank you."

When i reached home, i opened the nicely wrapped present and i saw two boxes inside (being wrapped up with more newspaper) -.-

I removed the newspaper from one of the box and i saw this.

A goillapod stand.

In my mind, i was wondering...

"ehh?! Why buy me a camera stand? He knows that my camera isn't working what. hmmmms?.... ermmms. wait... theres another box. Damn.. Don't tell me its a camera.."

So immediately, i removed the newspaper from the other box and i saw...

The last surprise was the day we are leaving for cameron.
Which is the day before my birthday.
We agreed to meet each other at douby ghuat at 9pm as our coach will be leaving at around 10pm.

At around 6pm, i received a message from him..

"where are you?"

"At home? why?"

"I overslept. You go out and see the present still there anot. Dustbin there"

"Huh? What you talking? What present? Where are you?"

"I late. I put one present outside your house dustbin."

So i quickly went out and i really saw something hanging near the dustbin.

I opened the white plastic bag and guess what i saw?

A pretty pinkie rose!

I can't help but smile when i saw that pinkie rose.
I hugged that rose in my arms and then i walked toward the stairs to see if hes there.
Was a bit disappointed when i saw it was empty.

Then suddenly, i heard someone calling me from behind.
I turned around and there he was, standing there with a strawberry cake in his hands.

I was so so surprised to see him!
Very happy as well.
My whole heart melted like seriously..
I was so touched that i almost cry!

Piggy, thank you so much so much for everything!
Thanks for making my 21st birthday such a memorable one.
Thank you so much for all your efforts.
and most importantly, thanks for being there.

We passed by this very nice hotel when we were on our way to our hotel.

As our hotel is the furthest up, the coach dropped us down at the "town area" first, to let us have our breakie.

After breakie, we continued our journey..

From the town area to our hotel took about 15mins.

Lucky us, we managed to check in immediatey after we reached.
We unpacked our stuff, cleaned ourselves up and then slacked for awhile before leaving our room to hunt for food.

We walked round the hotel but none of the restaurant were opened!
So while we were searching for food, we cam-whored along the way..

Miss ye went to cut her hair again.
and she really look like boy now.
She kind of regret cutting her hair cos ever since she had her hair cutted, her luck has been down.
Seriously down.

12/11/09: she had her hair cutted.

13/11/09: she happily went to work without bringing her uniform. So she has to go to the linen to borrow a set of uniform which is soOooOo small! -.-
Not long after she started working, one of her patient desaturated and his blood pressure dropped tremendously! From 110/60mmhg to 90/60mmhg to 70/40mmhg. So she spent her whole afternoon with that patient, running fast drip, doing suctioning, checking his blood pressure every 15mins, etc...

14/11/09: she kind of injured her back while trying to carry that pill of pp wash for her patient to wash his wound. and then while she was trying to push one of her patient to the toilet to pass urine, her patient couldnt control himself and he accidentally urine-d on her shoes and pants! So she spent close to 30mins in the tea room washing and drying her pants!

15/11/09: She started her day with 2 new admissions coming at the same time. One of her new patient was super F!(Full of nonsense) He's the type of patient who purposely want to find fault with us. So within 3hrs, he screwed the doctors up and of cos, not forgetting the nurses. So as expected, another complain case. Got to stay back and write memo to sister. *faint*

16/11/09: Super busy busyyyy day! Spent close to 2hrs on one patient settling the family conference thingyyy -.- Then one patient needs to remove the drain. Two patients need to STO. So i spent like another 2 hours ++ removing the 23 sitches, 30+ staples. Not only thatttt! One of my patient needs to reach TTSH rehab by 11am. Ambulance coming at 10.30am. At 9.45am, everything is still not up yet. Called doctor LIU at 9.50am and he said "yeah yeahhh. After my breakfast, i'll come and do the transfer summary." Like what the hell?! Patient leaving at 10.30am and you're still happily eating your breakfast? -.-" So he dilly dally-ed and came at 10.10am to prepare the documents. He only managed to finish the documents at 10.45am which is like 15mins late. And then just when the patient was about to leave, i found out that he didn't fill up the manual IMR! So i gave him a call and asked him to rush over cos the ambulance is already waiting. He said okayyy. But 10mins later, he was still no where to be found. So i tried calling him again and guess what?! He hang up on me and he turned off his cellphone! Like wah lauuuuuu. Damn piss off luhhh! So i've got no choice but to call dr dickson to help. He really rushed over and helped me to fill up the IMR even though that is not his patient which is like so nice of him! Unlike that IRRESPONSIBLE DR LIU! =((

I really wonder when my suay-ness is going to end. I survived today and hopefully tomorrow too. But i don't think i can survive on friday. Everybody is going to attend kossi's ROM and have fun. I'm the only one working. No joyce, no naf, no kiddo, no aishah, no yumin, no devia! Like so saddddd! And the best part is, we're kind of sort of staff on that day. Running teams. And i'm taking team 2! Which is the heaviest i thinkkkkk! Other people got 12 patients and i've got 14 patients! 15patients if both beds in isolation room is occupied. Plus.. i've got one patient from HD who needs close monitoring! Goshhh~ I really can't imagine how i am going to survive this coming friday. Don't think i can finish my work on time. I wonder what time i can go home on that day. 11pm? 11.30pm? or 12am? -.-"

Today when i was using the computer, Dr Howard suddenly turn to me and said.. "You know when i first saw you with short hair, i thought you're a male nurse.."

So i was like ermmmsssss okayyyyssss.. -.-

and then he continued.. "Did you fall asleep while you were cutting your hair? and when you woke up, you realised that your hair is gone. hahhhahaa.."

I looked at him and said.. "ehhs.. NoOoooo? I purposely want to cut it short lah."

He showed me that "are-you-sure" kind of looks and said.. "hey come on, don't lie.. Must be you fell asleep and then when you woke up, you were like *OMG, OMG, where is my hairrrrrr?!* ahahahahhahas."

I gave him that super -.-" face and replied.. "yeah yeahhs. as if ahhh"
i ignored him and continue to do my stuff.

For the rest of the day he keeps calling me tomboy and say.. "Next time remember not to fall asleep when you are going to cut your hair okayyy?"

Walking forward and true to his thoughts he saw a bigger one.
However he did not pick it, but thought to himself again: "maybe there will be an even bigger one waiting for him."

Later, when he had walked though more than half of the corn field, he started to realize that the corn was not as big as the previous ones he saw, and he knows that he has missed the biggest one, and he regretted it.
So, he ended up going back to the teacher with empty hands.

The teacher then told him, "...this is love... you keep looking for a better one, but when later you realized it, you already miss the person..."

I find this very meaningful.

By the time we board the cruise, it was already 5pm.
We unpacked our stuff, bathed and immediately we get out of our room to search for food.
We were both starving like hell cos we didnt really eat anything since after breakie till now.

We walked round and round the cruise and we were so sad to find out that dinner will only start @ 6pm.
We've got no choice but to go back to our room and munch on the tibits which i bought earlier on before we board the cruise.

Butter cookie, fruit cake, fruit tart, fruit pie, chocolate cake, chocolate puff, yoghurt mousse.
Most of it tasted really good.
I think i gained few pounds after this meal..
but it was all worth it!

We went to watch the musical drama after our dinner.
Two thumbs up for the musical drama.
Rated 4.7/5

Casino was next.
We played till around 12am++ before we headed back to our room to sleep.

Mr JZL refused to accompany me to watch the sunrise.
So the very next morning, i woke up @ 5.45am sharp and went out alone, hoping to catch the sunrise.
But when i reached the top, i realised that it was raining damn heavily.
The whole sky was dark and there were thunders here and there.
I was all alone out there.
To be honest, i was feeling super scared cos the whole place was so quiet, so windy, so dark!
In order to lessen my fear, i on-ed my ipod and waited patiently for the sun to rise.

Waited for about 45mins and this was what i saw -.-

The sun was totally blocked by the clouds lahhh!

Super disappointing!

When i went back to the room, Mr JZL was still sleeping.
He slept till around 8am.
Waited for him to wash up and we went to bella vista to have our breakie.

We left our bags with the cruise staff and we for our lunch.

..DAY THREE*02/09/09..

The next morning, we woke up at around 7.30am.
After washing up and everything, we went down to have our breakie.
Weather was great on that day.

Breakie was omelette with chicken sausages plus baked beans.

Hello guys, i'm back from Redangggggg!

I had soOoooOo much fun there!
I went snorkeling, i went swimming, i eat and eat and eat non-stop like a pig.
and of cos, not forgetting cam-whoring!

..DAY ONE & DAY TWO..

Boarded the Coach from beach road @ 10pm sharp.

Was having flu on that day. Super suayy~

I popped in 1 tab of piriton and slept throughout the whole journey lahhh.
Shiokness~

From singapore to Merang jetty took about 10hrs.
Reached Merang jetty at around 8am.
We waited for about 1hr 30mins for the ferry cos the first ride to redang island was at 9.30am -.-

I was starving like hell when we reached the jetty.
Lucky i've got some bread with me.
(I bought it before i went to meet Mr Lim yesterday night)

We were sitting at the jetty there, happily munching on our bread.
Then Mr Lim suddenly turned to me and said.. "Do you think the rest of the people will envy us?"
I laughed and answered him back.. "Most likely"

We reached redang @ 10.30am.
Managed to check in @ 11am.
Lucky us. hehes.

We unpacked our stuff, bathed and we went to the buffet restaurant to have our lunch.
Choice of food was quite limited.

Just finished my 2 rounds of night, like finally.
First night was all the way busy with one DIL(Dangerously Ill List) patient.
Most of the time was at the bedside giving drip, checking his BP etc.
We did all we can but in the end, we still didnt manage to save him.
We were sad of cos, but its a good thing he left.
At least he dont have to suffer anymore.
Thats how i feel.
hmmmms =\

Second night was quite a peaceful one as compared to the first night.
Had 3 admission in total.
One GS case, one GM case and one Ortho*spinal nursing.
Male's side hypocount was like crazy.
Out of my 18 patients, 12 got hypocount.
*Faints*

I'm glad that i survived through the 2 nights.
Wasnt feeling well the whole of yesterday night.
Almost collapse.
Nausea+++.
Vomitee was already at the throat level but i just couldnt vomit it out no matter how hard i tried.
That feeling was like hell.
Super hate it.
Think its the side effect of the new medicine i'm taking.
I'm still thinking whether to continue taking the medicine or to stop it.
ARGHhhHhhHHhHHhhh~
Nvm.. See how it goes.

Anywayyyyyy, i'll be having my 2weeks leave after my night.
Which is starting from today.
Will be going REDANG laterrrrrrrr!
Leaving my house in about 2 hours time.

Went to Compass Point just now with daddy, mummy & bro.
Had our dinner at Sakae Sushi.

Dinner was great.
Ordered damn lots of food.
Total damage was $99.19.
Big hole in my pocket,
but it was all worthwhile.
Everyone enjoyed the dinner.
Daddy, mummy is happy.
Therefore i'm happy too.

Went to the hair salon yesterday..
and i chopped off my super long hair.
A few of my colleagues were quite shocked.
One of them was like...

Okayss.
Just a quick update here.
Have been busy with work lately. (like as usual-.-)
The level of stress is building up as day passes by cos we're expected to know more things and be independent like totally.
but no matter how stressful work is, i still love my job.
i still love my patients (not all but most of them)
and of cos, not forgetting all my colleagues from 12C.

Especially the newbies!

Anyway, happy belated nurses day to all the nurses out there!

miss clumsy spent her nurses day with mr piggy.
They went cycling around woodlands area.
Theres this park whick link from Republic Poly all the way till marsiling if im not wrong?
So we cycled from piggy's house to Causeway point..
From Causeway point to Republic Poly to marsiling..
and from marsiling back to Republic Poly again.
then from Republic Poly to Causeway point library to return book.

We cycled non-stop for 2hrs plus.
Camwhored a little here and there along the way.
It was super tiring but i had lots of fun!
really enjoyed myself very much.
Love exercising.
Especially the aftermath feeling.

This month is not a good month for me.
Injured my hand one week ago..
and today, i injured both my legs.

This morning, i went to look for boyfriend to accompany him to have breakie.
When we were on our way back to his house after breakie, i somehow slipped and fell from the stairs.
i seriously don't know how it happen!
Like did i miss a step? or is it b'cos my slippers is too slippy?

Anyway, that fall landed me with bruises and cuts on my both legs.
That cut on my right leg is like super disgusting!
